In the 14-week web development bootcamp, students learn full-stack front and back end development. The curriculum covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PostgreSQL, React, Git/GitHub, Command Line, Node.JS, and Bootstrap. Students will participate in two hackathons and build a final project during the bootcamp.
In the 12-week data science bootcamp, students learn data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum covers Python, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised ML models, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, natural language processing, Computer Vision, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Big Data Spark, classification and regression.
In the 12-week, part-time UI/UX design bootcamp, students learn how to translate end-user needs into intuitive design and gain a strong mastery of the tools used by professionals. The curriculum covers user research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, paper prototyping, foundations of interaction desgin, typography, branding, HTML, CSS, and design tools like Figma. Students build a full portfolio of projects completed during the bootcamp.
The bootcamps don't require a degree or professional experience, but does require that students have the right qualities as well as a dedication to learning and making a full-time commitment. Discounts, payment plans, and student loans which can also be used for living expenses are available. The full immersion web development and data science programs include 2-week prep classes. After graduation, students will continue to be plugged into LearningFuze through the alumni network and the included job-search assistance. LearningFuze also offers a part-time intro course on nights and weekends.

Amazing Learning Experience

All of the instructors and staff have been wonderful to work with. The course is set up to simulate a real world working environment which means that you will get to experience being a junior software engineer and learn how to use Git as well as to ask for help from your instructors using Slack. Class is set up to be like a flipped classroom where you as the student get to read about and work with a programming topic first before coming together as a class to go over and discuss it. The system worked wonders and you are able to learn so much so quickly and be able to actually apply what you've learned to build your own projects. You are also given career support and will have a well build resume and LinkedIn by the end of the program. Even after the 14 weeks though, your time with LearningFuze and instructors does not end there. They are always there to provide support for their students, even after graduating the program. I am very grateful for being able to attend the Remote Web Development Bootcamp at LearningFuze. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into Web Development.

Overall great experience! I attended the full time full immersion coding bootcamp. The instructors were amazing. Very knowledgeable and knew how to guide without just giving away answers for the "easy way out." LearningFuze also taught me to be more self-sufficient and be able to learn on my own through exploration and documents. Part of what makes the in-person program worthwhile has been the instructors, Tim and Cody. They mentor you as if they were your senior developers to help simulate real-life interactions with developers. Their passion and enthusiasm for learning and explaining concepts are infectious, making learning to program even more exciting. Tim and Cody do a great job of not telling you the answers but guiding you to documentation and resources to help answer your questions. The curriculum they’ve developed is intentional in how it progresses and advances, allowing you to build up your confidence and ability to tackle increasingly more complex tasks. Highly recommend the in-person full-stack web dev program! I recently graduated from the 14 week in-person Web Development program at LearningFuze. As a graduate, I feel well prepared to begin my new career as a full-stack web developer. Learning how to learn is one of the primary goals for the students at LearningFuze.
The curriculum is broken up into independent exercises. Each exercise begins with reading official documentation such as docs provided by Mozilla Developer Network, Reactjs.org, Nodejs.org, etc. After reading through the documentation, we would attempt to complete the exercise before engaging in a full class Q&A discussion about the exercise and its solution. I enjoyed this process of learning compared to the traditional approach where we would have our lectures before attempting the assigned material. This approach made our Q&A discussion very effective for understanding the material. The topics covered in this bootcamp include but are not limited to HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), APIs, AJAX/Fetch Requests, Node.js, Express.js, SQL, PostgreSQL, React.js, Data Structures, JavaScript Promises, OOP, Closures, Algorithms, and much more. There are also career services in which we work on building our Resumes and personal LinkedIn profiles.
I really appreciated how the instructors ran the classroom like a professional workplace. All assignments were submitted as GitHub Pull Requests that needed Instructor code review before merging. Communication, including questions and concerns, occurred through Slack. During our Project weeks, we delivered daily stand-ups on our development progress. All together, LearningFuze has the goal of not only preparing us to be developers, but professionals as well.
I am thankful to my instructors, Tim and Cody. They are both excellent instructors and genuinely seem to love what they do. I would highly recommend attending in-person if you can. I had a wonderful experience and will continue to be involved with the Alumni community for years to come.
