In the 14-week web development bootcamp, students learn full-stack front and back end development. The curriculum covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PostgreSQL, React, Git/GitHub, Command Line, Node.JS, and Bootstrap. Students will participate in two hackathons and build a final project during the bootcamp.
In the 12-week data science bootcamp, students learn data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum covers Python, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised ML models, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, natural language processing, Computer Vision, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Big Data Spark, classification and regression.
In the 12-week, part-time UI/UX design bootcamp, students learn how to translate end-user needs into intuitive design and gain a strong mastery of the tools used by professionals. The curriculum covers user research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, paper prototyping, foundations of interaction desgin, typography, branding, HTML, CSS, and design tools like Figma. Students build a full portfolio of projects completed during the bootcamp.
The bootcamps don't require a degree or professional experience, but does require that students have the right qualities as well as a dedication to learning and making a full-time commitment. Discounts, payment plans, and student loans which can also be used for living expenses are available. The full immersion web development and data science programs include 2-week prep classes. After graduation, students will continue to be plugged into LearningFuze through the alumni network and the included job-search assistance. LearningFuze also offers a part-time intro course on nights and weekends.

As someone who is credentialed in secondary education, I can wholeheartedly say the instructors and curriculum at LearningFuze are head and shoulders above their competition. Many of their practices I wish I could have brought to my own classroom. Not only do they teach you to code, they refine your ability to teach yourself. Both my instructors Cody and Tim were thoroughly knowledgeable about the technology we were learning and were capable of guiding me in every step of my education, but they also empowered me to learn on my own to practice how learning will be once I'm in the industry. The curriculum promoted this, helping you better understand industry documentation instead of watering down difficult concepts.
And throughout my instruction, LearningFuze's career services helped me put together a strong resume and advised me with how to best approach the job search, an area that I personally have struggled with. Cass especially has put in extra effort to provide individual feedback on my resume and to coach me around job interviews. TJ has also been pivotal in my career choices. He was willing to set up meetings for me to speak with web developers and data scientists when I was trying to decide on which career to pursue, and this was before I even enrolled at LearningFuze. And lastly, I doubt I will need it for much longer but it is reassuring to know that LearningFuze offers their career services indefinitely after completing their program free of charge.

The course work progresses at a steady pace, you will find you need to do some work outside of class but it was very manageable and their was almost always someone available to help if you get stuck. The professors were all very knowledgable and passionate about coding and, while they didn't hesitate to help out, found a balance where you were also learning on your own.

After looking into a handful of different bootcamps, I decided to join LearningFuze because of all the positive reviews. What a great Experience!
LearningFuze was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. I searched online for a part time course that would fit my schedule and one that I could attend in person because I wanted to network. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. I attended an info session at General Assembly early in the year and was not pleased with how corporate the whole experience felt. Right before Covid hit, I attended the info session at LearningFuze and was hooked. I’m glad I attended the info session for LearningFuze, right away I knew the school was ready to help me succeed. I asked plenty of questions in the info session and quickly signed up for the prep classes. Having had only minimal HTML and CSS experience I knew I wanted to learn more. The prep classes are a perfect way to see how the school runs and how the instructors teach. I was lucky enough to attend both prep classes in person, but then right after that, Covid hit and I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to attend the part time classes. Luckily the transition to online was seamless, I had communication everyday with the instructors whether through slack or through a breakout meeting on Zoom. I honestly feel lucky to have found such a great group of instructors and faculty to help me succeed in my endeavor to become a web developer. The part time courses are just like the full time immersion but takes about one year to complete. What both courses teach are the same, the tech stack of Javascript, React, Node.js, Express and so on are vital to what is being asked for in the job market right now. When working on your work, you will feel as if you are working in a company already, turning in things on Github and having them reviewed by senior developers, in addition to reading code out loud. I have recently finished the part time course and now I am in the career services part of the journey. Although I don’t meet with my cohort online anymore, my instructors are always ready to chat with me, I can’t thank Brett, Scott, Tim H., and Cassandra enough for holding me accountable and reminding me everyday, through their support, why I invested so much money in this school.
If you are working a job you are not passionate about, if you love technology but don’t know how to break into tech, if you work full time but think you can’t take night classes, give LearningFuze a try! Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached really sealed the deal for me that LearningFuze would be the right place to take my learning to the next level.I’ve been in the full immersion course for the last several months and it has been such an amazing experience - but definitely good to know what you’re getting into. If you’re expecting to just show up to class everyday, do the minimal amount of work and somehow be a web development expert at the end, then I don’t think LearningFuze (or probably any coding bootcamp) is for you. But if you’re willing to put in the work and time, LearningFuze has a ton of resources that can really help propel you on the right path. Both of my instructors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with what they taught and you could tell that they both loved to teach which made class something I looked forward to everyday. Course is broken up into a series of exercises, challenges and projects that help teach new concepts, challenge you to prove that you understand those concepts and then implement your new knowledge into real projects that you can show off. By the 4th week of class we were already designing our first project, and by the 8th week we’d already designed and built our first apps. So as long as you're willing to work hard and take advantage of all the resources they offer you, LearningFuze is a wonderful place to learn how to code. Can’t recommend it enough!
