Since 2011, General Assembly has graduated more than 40,000 students worldwide from the full time & part time courses. Best self-investment possible

Worth it
I had many doubts before investing half of my savings in GA data analytics BootCamp a year ago, but now everything around me proves that was the right decision to make. Before that I already had diverse educational backgrounds across TAFE and university programs - none of them yields more outcomes than this 3-month journey. At the time of joining GA in May, 2022, I was unemployed in the aftermath of COVID as a migrant living alone in Australia. Now is June 2023, I'm working as an IT prof...I had many doubts before investing half of my savings in GA data analytics BootCamp a year ago, but now everything around me proves that was the right decision to make. Before that I already had diverse educational backgrounds across TAFE and university programs - none of them yields more outcomes than this 3-month journey. At the time of joining GA in May, 2022, I was unemployed in the aftermath of COVID as a migrant living alone in Australia. Now is June 2023, I'm working as an IT professional with a decent salary in a life-balanced environment. I know friends who recently graduated with Masters of IT at UNSW, UON, or a Cert IV from TAFE, they are actually not doing as good as I am. As once told at an info session at TAFE, this is an unregulated industry - so as long as you find the right field for your (e.g. Data analytics), go for it, gain the skill, then it doesn't matter where you are from, practice your English, then you WILL find a good job. P.S. ReDiscovering Capabilities
Went into the bootcamp rather nervous, but it turned out that the environment was such a safe space to make mistakes and learn. Students weren’t afraid to ask questions/clarify, which allowed them to gain confidence in their new skillsets. This is especially helpful for those who are doing a major career change and have a case of imposter syndome or self doubt.

Great learning experience
I absolutely loved my time with General Assembly and their Software Engineering Immersive. It was a full-time online course over three months. The instructor I had at the time, Michael Lackey, was absolutely fantastic in his explanations and guidance. He could be overbearing but because of that, those of us who made it through the course all agreed that it greatly helped to develop our coding skills, learning ability, critical thinking, and teamwork mentality.
The post-course outcome...I absolutely loved my time with General Assembly and their Software Engineering Immersive. It was a full-time online course over three months. The instructor I had at the time, Michael Lackey, was absolutely fantastic in his explanations and guidance. He could be overbearing but because of that, those of us who made it through the course all agreed that it greatly helped to develop our coding skills, learning ability, critical thinking, and teamwork mentality.
The post-course outcomes department is a strong force that has helped me personally with my search for a position. Though the market is tough at the moment, they offer great guidance, resources, and connections to other engineers.
I highly recommend this course. I took the UX Immersive bootcamp in January 2023 and had a blast. An engaging, worthwhile endeavor
The curriculum for Data Analytics Remote (Online) was exactly what I needed to get started in the Data Analytics space, but the instructor is what really brought this course to life. Durga was fantastic in taking the time to explain concepts and give additional examples where needed. She used her day-to-day experience to help illustrate how the course work could be used in practical instances. A great experience I will look back on fondly
My experience was overall great! Since graduating, I have done a ton of work to continue my education and skill building in ux by doing pro bono work, alongside looking for full time work. Although I feel like UX bootcamp classes may not be the most accurate depiction of the realities of any particular job, my instructional team definitely gave me the resources and skills needed to apply in many directions. I just have to maintain that willingness to grow post course! Since I graduated i...My experience was overall great!
