Before starting the bootcamp I was super scared that I wasn't going to be able to follow the classes and understand the content but it turned out to be way better in so many aspects than I could've ever imagined. From my fellow coleagues, to the professors and to the whole staff of Ironhack everyone helped each other out so much that made the whole bootcamp and the whole proccess of learning new things so much easier.
I want to give a special appreciation to Diogo Capitão, the PM on the Lisbon campus for making sure everyone had everything they needed and to attend to everyone's necessities makinhg sure everything went as smoothly as possaible.
On a last note I just want to say it was one of the best decisions I made recently and I highly reccoment it to everyone wanting to shift carreers to any of the bootcamps available.Flatiron School

I graduated from GoIT Academy a few weeks before the end of 2022. I studied the FullStack developer course, which included HTML, CSS, JS, React, and Node. In general, I am very pleased with the training organization; there are many really cool mentors. If you like to learn, have had highly qualified school teachers, and think of them fondly, you may feel the same way after GoIT. I had very qualified teachers; sometimes, it was not easy to pass assignments, and often the mentor would focus on those places where I felt that I had not fully understood something, even though everything seemed to be working properly. This approach encouraged me to go deeper into the material again. Access to learning materials was also well established. There were structured notes and videos that I can use even after the course is over. As a bonus, I also received a series of lessons that were not included in the course, such as TypeScript and React Native. In addition to the teachers, the group was assigned a manager who helped with organizational issues. So, in general, I am very satisfied, the training system is built with high quality and special thanks to the teachers, it is clear that they love their job and are pros.... Read Less Clarusway

During the 17-week full-time program I experienced tremendous growth and was able to build much greater things than I expected. On the 17th week I was accepted into an internship and it's because of this bootcamp. During the full-time bootcamp it is up to you and how hard you are willing to apply yourself during this time. If you need to recharge, recharge. However, if you have free time, commit it to learning new technologies or improving existing skills. As I write this, I am now familiarizing myself with an entirely new codebase and beginning work with 40 other developers. The curriculum keeps you moving and lays an important foundation for new developers. Also, I would recommend Veronica as an instructor. Read Morei just got graduated the overall experience is 10/10 very nice bootcamp the staff are great and they just willing to help instructors are very nice and informative specially my instructor Brandt, he is such a cool person as well as a teacher, the way he explains and delivers the ideas to you is great i learned a lot from/and because of him also Brendan was cool too although he was with us only the first 3-4 weeks but he gave us lots of resources where we can learn from, Brandt did great job handling the class on his own for 8-9 weeks. for me the Curriculum was decent starting with html/css going to python and then SQL as database following that learning flask a python framework finishing with JS/typeScript and react as frontend frame work I couldn't ask for more tbh. the course wasn't hard but i would say it was above average, if you are someone who loves learning new stuff or just love learning in general and your punctual enough you will be fine because you gotta keep on working/coding/reading though out the bootcamp, you will have free time some weeks but you gotta keep it ahead don't ever fall behind once you do, it's gonna be hard to catch up also you will learn seriously a lot once i joined i didn't know that much about tech but now i have a decent knowledge which is really cool learning all of this in this short time, one more thing i want to mention is week 5-6 which is gonna be kinda the hardest week because you will be building your first app but don't worry your instructor is there to help after week 6 thing will get better specially when you will learn react, REACT will make life much easier, lastly guys you gotta love what you do and love tech in general, if you don't i am not sure if you will make, thats overall my honest review to the bootcamp and the course in general i enjoyed it, it was really fun i get to know nice ppl, also don't listen or mind bad reviews YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PUT no room for laziness guys :)... Financing wise was the hardest for me being an out of state remote student which is why I cannot continue to Immersions (Software Development) unfortunately. If you are an out of state student just be mindful or have the full tuition prepared because you cannot get the school's deferred tuition or other help if you cannot get a loan for both halves of the program. As the program is split into two parts (Coding Foundations and Software Development) you can be approved for a Climb loan for the first half and not approved for the second, leaving you with no certification or job assistance and a loan to pay back. If you're in state they have many options and resources available to help you.
In the end it was a rewarding experience and I learning a lot. I am grateful for this experience and I'm excited to continue my journey on a slightly different path than I intended! We had some student services employees taking the class with us and they are phenomenal people so I know students are in good hands when entering immersions and beyond! I do wish the class would have covered more git training. We did go over it, but I feel having a dedicated week to it would be beneficial. Especially in the areas of when something goes wrong, and perhaps something to help students with what would be the best approach in certain situations.
That being said, I feel like everything else I have learned is monumental in advancing my career. I learned what it was like working on a team of programmers. The other class members were helpful, and I had fun helping some of them.

Read MoreAs a recent graduate of Hackbright Academy, I can only describe my experience as amazing. I've been truly inspired by the staff, curriculum, and the community, all of which have played instrumental roles in my development as a professional software engineer.
Before joining Hackbright, the world of tech and coding seemed formidable, like a mountain too steep to climb. The thought of switching careers and learning an entirely new discipline was daunting, but with the outcomes and learning teams I feel heaps better than I would've if I was simply a CS graduate coming out of school.
The career support from Outcomes was nothing short of phenomenal. They guided us on how to navigate the tech industry. They provided resources for job searching, resume building, interview preparation, and even salary negotiation. Even after graduation, the support continues, making me feel that Hackbright is commited to my long-term success.
I would also like to take a moment to appreciate the exceptional instructors (Jared & Drue). They were not only incredibly knowledgeable but were also patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in our learning. Their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our understanding is something that I will always remember and appreciate. The one on ones with them were particularly useful and helpful as I decide what my next steps in tech may be.

I worked in software test automation before I decided to take this bootcamp full stack development course.
My previous coding experience helped me to scale up and transition easily to understand the development course.
My favourite aspects of the UofT SCS Coding Boot Camp Online program are
1. Well crafted the course design and modules are examples: The gradual introduction of concepts and the building of larger concepts upon smaller ones is an effective teaching method that allows for better comprehension and understanding.
2. The weekly challenges also seem to have played a significant role in keeping you engaged and motivated throughout the course, as they provided opportunities to apply your knowledge and create your own projects.
3. In class: The hands-on approach during class, where the tutor explains concepts and allows for immediate practical application, is undoubtedly beneficial for better understanding and the ability to clarify any doubts on the spot.
My advice to prospective students will be to have a passion for development, embracing challenges, and dedicating extra study time outside of class hours are crucial for making the most of the course. My own experience of completing numerous projects in different topics speaks to the effectiveness of this approach. The bootcamp instilled great confidence to take up development work later. - 83Reviews7CoursesUT Austin Boot Camps offer 12-week, full-time and 24-week, part-time web development courses, 24-week, part-time data analytics, UX/UI, and cybersecurity cou... Read MoreFrom day one of the Bootcamp, the teachers kept telling us "Check yourself before you wreck yourself and trust the process". I didn't know what they meant at the time and I questioned everything. Coming from Retail Management as working background with zero experience in the Tech world the Bootcamp was quite intense as well as overwhelming for me throughout the whole 12-week course. A lot of new information was thrown at us every day, and the next day built on the previous one. Apart from the 10-6 daily schedule, I had to grind lots of extra hours of self-studying in order to keep up with the course. But at some point, everything started coming together and the puzzle started becoming more concrete. It's a GREAT program - for everyone - regardless of their background, whether they are coders or non-coders. The teachers and TA are very knowledgeable. They are extremely friendly and patient. The teachers taught me how to code but also how to be patient, be gentle with myself, and work in a team effectively. The management team is polite, friendly, and present. They're always available to help with any issues. The Career Week was very helpful and enlightening in order to help us prepare properly for the job hunt, job interviews, polish our resume and Linkedin profile. I chose Codaisseur mainly for the "No cure- no pay" model that they offer, as tuition fees can be quite stressful while trying to find a job as a junior developer. All and all, I am 100% satisfied with my choice as I found my first job as a Junior API Engineer 5-weeks after my graduation. If you're on the fence (just like me in the beginning) and wondering if you should take Codaisseur Bootcamp or not, please do yourself a favor – take a leap of faith – and GO FOR IT! Read MoreI am very happy with my decision to enroll in University of Richmond’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp. I have no previous experience working in IT so I was a bit concerned with making a career change. From the first week of class I felt like I had found what I was looking for, a program to set me up for an entry level position in cybersecurity.John Hui has been my instructor for this Bootcamp. He is very knowledgable on the topics covered and is willing to give real-world examples to help you learn. John is a master at giving you just enough knowledge to find answers on your own. Often a cryptic response to your question will lead you to an “Aha!” moment. This sense of discovery is very gratifying and pushes me to learn more. Truly an amazing teacher!During the course I learned many new concepts about Cybersecurity and got hands-on experience with all kinds of software. The syllabus will guide you through controlling a computer in the command line to building an entire functional cloud system and beyond. The course materials, assignments, projects, and career resources are a complete package. From the start, I feel I’ve had what I needed to succeed. Everyone with the Bootcamp has been very professional and more than helpful. Never did I feel like I couldn't ask a question. Even though I still have another week in the course, I am confident I have the skills to find my desired position. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to break into the Cybersecurity field.... Read Less Byte Academy

There were about 30 people in a class and 1 instructor and 2 TAs. The course was remote and taught over Zoom used with Slack. I was able to learn multiple concepts needed to become a Full Stack Developer. We would get assignments that we were put in a breakout room to complete and get experience after the instructor finished teaching the concept. The instructors and TAs would join the rooms and help us with any difficulties.
Some other perks I found helpful was the fact that I was assigned a tutor who I could work one on one with for an hour every week, I got experience collaborating with other people on projects, I received feedback on my career materials, and I got assigned a career coach I could meet with after graduation to assist with the job search.
Only complaint I have is that some of the other people in my class were lazy and not very intelligent and wouldn't help with projects and managed to be a burden. I don't mind helping people out when they run into problems when they pay attention to what I am saying and learn. I had some people who I helped out in the Boot Camp who were genuinely trying to improve and ended up becoming better after I helped them and it made them willing to help me out but I wasted hours trying to teach certain people simple concepts that they couldn't understand after they wouldn't put any effort into the class. This isn't entirely the fault of the school as they had a process of checking the people who applied. This is something that will happen anywhere though and it is good to know how to handle situations like this in life.
I am able to recommend the Boot Camp and say that it was helpful for me. I am currently seeking a job and can say that I have received good help with programming and job seeking. - 66Reviews8CoursesColumbia Engineering Boot Camps offer 12-week, full-time and 24-week, part-time courses in web development, and 24-week, part-time data analytics, cybersecur... Before making my decision, I researched many private courses and programs at other universities. I can tell you that this is the most comprehensive and balanced program at a competitive fee. At others schools, you get a third of the material from this course for the same price. Another important factor is the excellent reputation of Columbia University as one of the most prestigious universities not only in the US but the world. This translates into the quality of its educational programs and teaching staff. Also, this certificate program allows one to attend classes in the evening so as not to interfere with one’s job. It’s very convenient for those working individuals who want to further develop their UX/UI skills or change their profession altogether.
Why did I choose the UX/UI Design program? I have a degree in web design, programming, and computer graphics. However, I did very little work in this area, more often as a freelancer, as this was not my main job. I received my diploma 10 years ago and a lot of what I learned then became outdated. Back then there wasn’t even a concept of UX/ UI. I decided to go back to doing UX/UI as I feel that this is an area I can excel in. Knowing what I needed to learn for my future job made it easier for me to choose this course. I advise anyone who wants to change their profession and doesn’t know where to start to sign up for Columbia Engineering UX/UI Boot Camp. I can assure you for sure that you will get a good starting base knowledge of UX/UI. During the course, you will create a personal portfolio which is not so easy to do on your own, especially if you are not familiar with web design and user research. I highly recommend Columbia Engineering UX/UI Boot Camp course! - 65Reviews8CoursesBerkeley Boot Camps offer 12-week, full-time and 24-week, part-time courses in web development; 24-week, part-time courses in data analytics, UX/UI, cybersec... This boot camp provided ample support outside the classroom and constructive feedback on each graded activity. All in-class activities were well explained. Each class had a new topic broken down into laymen's terms for people (myself included) with no experience in the field. It was easy to follow, if I had any questions I felt invited to ask the instructors. Both the instructor and TAs were reliable and respectable. Read MoreBefore enrolling in the course I had interviewed for a few tech and research-oriented positions in my field and failed to move past the last stages of the process, so I decided that I needed to get better prepared to meet the demands of today's data-driven world. This Bootcamp's curriculum covers a lot of ground and it succeeds to stay within industry-standard tools and practices that have given me the confidence to work with real-life data analytics and data engineering tasks. The Bootcamp doesn't require a computer science background but it helps to have university-grade foundations in computation, mathematics, and statistics as well as some experience with programming languages. On many occasions, because of the fast pace of the program, I wished I had more time to deepen my knowledge of certain topics and tools like web technologies, cloud computing, and Python libraries, but at least the curriculum revisits them later on and expands on them appropriately. The career services are good but it's hard to prioritize them early on with so much going on in the lessons and assignments. The way I get the most out of the course is by being confident using everyday tools like Git, Google, the command line, and code editors, as they can get in the way of learning more complex topics further down the road. The rest is applying the course materials in whatever interests you the most. The first 4-6 weeks can be difficult as you adapt to the schedule but it gets easier once you make a habit of learning and practicing technical skills while progressively becoming a better data analyst....
